22-Mile suicide prevention ride raises $5,000

The American Legion Riders Chapter 105 and the SF Hogs present a check of money raised for the Palo Alto VA Suicide Prevention program

On Saturday, July 2 was the 3rd annual Suicide Prevention Ride in Redwood City. The Independence Day weekend ride raised almost $5,000 for the Palo Alto VA Suicide Prevention program. This was a 22-mile ride from The American Legion Post 105 to the Palo Alto VA to help support their efforts. The ride is a combined effort by The American Legion Riders, Chapter 105 and the SF HOGS.

On average, 22 veterans commit suicide every day. This need not happen! If you need help or you know of someone who needs help call your local VA, there is support to help prevent suicide.

If you wish to help support this effort a donation may be made at https://gofund.me/d8bd769b. All contributions will be made to the Palo Alto Suicide Prevention Program.

Want to join in making a difference? The Redwood City American Legion Post 105, Department of California needs your help raising
funds for veteran suicide prevention. Donations will be made to the Palo Alto VA Healthcare System, and any donation will help make an impact.
