Do your children or grandchildren love to create art?

The American Legion Department of California recently launched an art contest meant to inspire patriotism in California’s youth.

The 2020 Patriotism & Purpose Art Contest reflects the positive impact our Veterans are making in communities across the country and is open to kids 17 and under and will award $500 to the winners in each of two categories, split between children ages 12 and under and teens between 13-17.

Get those entries in before Tuesday, Sept. 1 (postmarked my Aug. 29).
