Bylaws Revision for 2021 Submitted

bylaws revision 2021

The Constitution and Bylaws Commission is pleased to announce that on January 25th the proposed revision to the Department Bylaws was submitted to Department Adjutant Barbara Lombrano.  The Commission met several times over the past six months and talked with several members throughout California in putting together a revision that supports both what we do and how to do it.

Copies are now available on the Department Website under Resources/Bylaws.  There are two versions which available in both PDF and Word. The Working Copy shows what was, added, subtracted, or moved to a different location.  The Clean Copy shows how they will read once approved.  Both say the same. The Revision will be read and voted on at the Department Convention in June.  Copies will be sent to all the Posts in California sometime soon as required by the current Bylaws.  Any additional changes can be submitted by resolution or a motion on the floor at the Convention.  Anyone having any questions can contact the Commission Chairman Mark Rice at bylaws@calegion.org
