- U.S. Rep. Norma Torres, D-Calif. has introduced the Enrique Roman-Martinez Military Cold Case Justice Act of 2022, which aims to reform the way the U.S. Military handles cold cases. The act is named after Spc. Enrique Roman-Martinez from Chino, whose partial remains were found near Fort Bragg, N.C. on May 29, 2020. Roman-Martinez’s case remains unsolved.
- Beginning Jan. 1, the VA is extending its VALife veterans life insurance program to millions of veterans. Eligible applicants are guaranteed coverage.
