The American Legion Department of California held its annual oratorical contest on March 6, with participants being awarded $8,600 in prize money. First place winner Regina Molitoris was awarded $1,200 from the Department and received a $5,000 prize from the National organization, which opted not to hold a national competition this year because of the pandemic.

1st Place: Regina Molitoris – $1,200.00 – plus a $5,000.00 from National
2nd Place: Brandon True $1,000.00
3rd place: Jonah Wong $700.00
4th Place: Ilana Tran $700.00
