Free zipline tour for veterans in Santa Margarita

We are excited to announce our next Veterans Outreach event will be a zipline tour at Margarita Adventures in Santa Margarita from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30. This event is FREE for those who served in the military and those who are currently serving (one guest welcome). Participants must weigh between 30-275 lbs.

Enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of valleys, vineyards, and mountains on the Sunset Tour. Soar along six ziplines spanning more than 7,500 total feet. The thrills are amplified by the diminishing light, and by the end you’ll use glow sticks to help guide your way. Also take a walk along a narrow 300-foot suspension bridge as you cross a deep canyon between the first and second ziplines.

To register, visit http://www.slocounty.ca.gov/veteransoutreach (click ‘Register here’ at bottom of the page).  Space is limited. We are giving priority to first time Veterans Outreach participants and returning participants that have not attended previous zipline events with us.

IMPORTANT: All participants will be REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK while we are in the Margarita Adventures office and while we are transported from their office in one of their buses to the ziplines.  Participants are welcome to wear a mask throughout the entirety of our event if they would like, and we ask that participants who prefer to practice social distancing when possible are respected.
