LA County’s First Annual Veteran Women’s Summit Will Be Held on July 13

The Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, in collaboration with Supervisor Solis’s office and Women Vets on Point, proudly presents the first annual Veteran Women’s Summit, an event dedicated to empowering Women Veterans in the community.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 13, at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, 1816 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015.

This summit aims to create positive change by featuring meaningful discussions with experienced panelists and offering breakout sessions that address common barriers faced by Women Veterans seeking services.

Participants will benefit from engaging speakers and informative sessions that provide valuable insights and resources.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The schedule includes:

Registration and Continental Breakfast: 8:00 AM
Event Introduction: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Department Presentations: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
First Speaker Panel: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Second Speaker Panel: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Mixer: 2:30 PM

This event promises a day of empowerment, connection, and learning, offering a unique opportunity to support and uplift Women Veterans in the community.
