SAN JOSE, CA (June 10, 2026) — Valle Monte League is pleased to welcome two respected mental health organizations—Operation Freedom Paws and Parents Helping Parents––while continuing its longstanding partnership with Hearts & Minds Activity Center. These additions strengthen Valle Monte League’s network of community-based services to better support individuals and families across the region.
As part of Valle Monte League’s commitment to improving access to mental health care, these partnerships expand resources in therapeutic services, peer support, family-centered care and community outreach. Valle Monte League’s partners are:
- Hearts & Minds Activity Center: A nonprofit day program for persons living with dementia, providing compassionate, individualized services with a full schedule of customized activities designed to slow cognitive decline as well as family caregiver education, support and guidance.
- Operation Freedom Paws: A nonprofit specializing in service dog training and canine-assisted therapeutic programming that supports veterans, children and adults coping with trauma, anxiety, PTSD and other mental health challenges.
- Parents Helping Parents (PHP): Empowers families raising loved ones with disabilities through education, support, and advocacy. PHP provides parent-to-parent support, advocacy training, resource navigation and workshops that help caregivers build resilience, strengthen their well-being and access services and resources for their families.
