Newport Beach American Legion Post 291 is hosting ‘Women Are Warriors – Veterans Event,’ to honor and celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of Women Veterans.

Scheduled for May 9th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the event will take place at The American Legion, Post 291, located at 215 15th St., Newport Beach, CA 92663.

This family-friendly occasion will recognize the dedication, bravery, and sacrifices of Women Veterans in serving the country. The first 200 women attendees will receive beauty bags and fresh fruits and veggies courtesy of the Love Mission. Additionally, there will be 50 children’s bags available, along with a bounce house for children’s entertainment, courtesy of Camp Curtis.

Veterans resource vendors will be present to offer information and support for Veterans’ needs.

Interested individuals are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they receive their beauty bags, explore vendor offerings, and partake in the festivities.

The organizers eagerly anticipate the participation of attendees at the Women Are Warriors – Veterans Event.
