[robo-gallery id=”74750″] You are invited to join us for the District 24 Four Chaplains Program on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1 pm PST. This video program was made in a partnership between District 24 and Hollywood Post 43.

On February 3, 1943, the USAT Dorchester, which was filled to capacity with service members, was sunk in the Atlantic Ocean.

In the midst of the situation, four chaplains gave up their life jackets for others on the ship. They prayed for and comforted those around them. These chaplains gave up their lives to save others and remained beacons of light for as long as they could on that ship.

We honor their sacrifice, unity, and service with Four Chaplains Day. The District 24 program honoring them will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1 pm over Zoom due to Covid-19. Participants in the program are from around the district, reflecting the unity of the chaplains.

We hope you can join us for this special program.
