Department Commander Nick Rosa gives a speech at the celebration of life for Past Department Commander Autrey James

The celebration of life for Past Department Commander Autrey B. James took place over the weekend at the Colombo Club in Oakland, CA. Family, friends, and legionnaires gathered together, not just to mourn the loss of someone who was truly dear to us all, but to cherish, remember, and celebrate all of the time and memories that we did have with him.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to pay their respects.

Autrey’s service to this country, as well as to The American Legion, will never be forgotten.
