During these unprecedented times of 2020, Posts are finding innovative ways to move forward and get things done. When Hollywood Post 43 was asked by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to virtually host a virtual mixer, the idea came up that there be a live streamed, walk-through tour of the building. Hollywood being Hollywood, decided to amp up the production value.
This would be a recorded tour, utilizing the skills and tools of those involved. As more talented members of the Post and the Squadron joined in, the production blossomed into something that everyone is proud of. We had professional editors, a drone pilot, a talented director of photography, a competent director, a thorough and creatively gifted AD, and a team of always camera ready and ever articulate, on-camera tour guides.
Veterans and SAL members came together, on a mission to make something great.
The names listed here in the credits, collaborated and did this project “for the good of the Legion” and the good of the Post. Each of their talents and efforts came together to make this a success.

Jeff Daly grew up in Kalamazoo, MI before joining the Marine Corps. After his service he went to the small, private, liberal arts school Kalamazoo College, where he studied Economics and Political Science. Jeff serves The American Legion is several capacities. He is on the Department Training Committee and is an instructor for California Legion College. He is junior/immediate past Commander of Hollywood Post 43. He has been a District officer and served two terms as the Department Membership Director. He is also the immediate past President of the National American Legion College Alumni Associate.
