Do you want to highlight the good work your post or district does for veterans and your community? Easily submit your photos and text to the Department of California website by visiting caLegion.org/ugc. The “ugc” stands for user-generated content, in case you wanted to know.

This is also the best way to submit content to The California Legionnaire, the department’s official newsletter.

In this age of digital communications, it’s imperative the Department of California utilize its website to the fullest, so we’re asking for your help to make sure that’s the case. Any questions, comments or concerns can be emailed to editor@caLegion.org.

The next steps are optional.

Create an account and log in to caLegion in order to:

  • Create a profile with a bio to let everyone know who you are
  • Add a photo to your profile which will display on your post comments
  • Add an event to the California Events Calendar
  • Add content to the website, like an article with photos
    • Your byline will automatically display on your article when you upload and your profile will be linked to it
    • You can still add articles to the website if you’re not logged in, but you profile will not be linked to your byline

NOTE: Creating a profile on caLegion.org will NOT give you access to MyLegion.org. Visit MyLegion.org to access your personal membership information or to access your officer dashboard to manage your post or district responsibilities.
