Good Day Legionnaires:
Keeping you up to-date on our meal deliver to the Fisher House on Travis, AFB, CA. I want to thank Legionnaires Vickie Furman and Post 165 Executive Committee Member Aretha Chandler for providing and delivering the meal to ten Fisher House Residents this past Monday. The meal included: Pan fried chicken cutlets, meatballs with Italian sausage and beef, pasta with marina sauce, sweet corn, Caesar salad, garlic bread and some delicious cookies from Crumble (pictured below). American Legion Post 165 members have been delivering a free evening meal on the 2nd Monday for the last six months. The Post is committed to continue the program to serve meals to Fisher House residents each month . If you would like to sign up to provide a meal please email me and let me know.
