2024 Paris Olympics

Thanks to a partnership between the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, AAFES, and Comcast NBCUniversal, Service Members, Retirees, honorably discharged Veterans, and other eligible individuals, will have the opportunity to watch over 5,000 hours of live coverage from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games for free, as reported by the MilitaryTimes.

The Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11. Those who qualify may watch the events live on ShopMyExchange.com on their computers or mobile devices. All branches of the military are eligible to participate. Due to content rights restrictions, viewers must have an active ShopMyExchange.com account. Establishing an account requires online verification of military or Veteran status.

According to a joint announcement by AAFES and NBCUniversal, coverage will include live competitions across 39 sports and all 329 medal events. Additionally, viewers can expect to see top stories, memorable moments, and livestreams of select practice sessions. Video content such as event recaps, highlights, viral moments, and interviews will also be available. 

To access the coverage, viewers can visit NBCOlympics.com on a computer or use the NBC Sports app, available only to viewers in the U.S., and select the Exchange as their service provider. Viewers stationed overseas must access the livestream from military locations equipped with internet service from authorized providers like 101 GLOBAL, Boingo, and others.

This collaboration reflects a commitment to serving those who have served, ensuring they can enjoy and share in the excitement of the Olympic Games, regardless of their current duty station or Veteran status.
