The Visalia Post 18 family add our Condolences and Prayers for the Grimsley family. We pray God’s Grace flow over all who mourn his passing. But we also remember the good times working with him, the things we accomplished during his watch, and look forward to the day when we join him at Post Everlasting, The American Legion. Very sad to hear about Commander Edward Grimsley’s passing. As his Historian I will always remember him as a warm, friendly and generous leader. Great personality and a well respected legionnaire throughout the state of California. His dedication to serving our veterans will be remembered. My wife Pam and I send our prayers to Annette and family, during this difficult time. God Bless always.

The members of our Post 679 truly admired Ed Grimsley for the support and leadership he served for the past two years as Dept. of California Commander.
He was a wonderful leader who supported all posts in the State of California and stimulated them to prepare for the future.
