On behalf of Manuel L. Quezon Post 603, we sincerely extend our deepest condolences to Annette and the Grimsley family.
Along with the always-faithful http://www.CaLegion.org family, Ed Grimsley was one of our biggest supporters in our national TEAM effort to transfer the Mare Island Naval Cemetery from the City of Vallejo to the Veterans Affairs.
Comrade Ed, may God always bless you and your family. RIJ – Rise In Joy!
I will always remember the good times we all shared along with Ed. He was a wonderful friend to me personally and I will miss him dearly. May God Bless you Ed Grimsley …… thanks for your guidance and laughter. You WILL BE missed my friend!
This is incredibly sad news. Commander Grimsley was a beacon of positivity, light, family and pure fun. He loved the Legion family and was one of our first Auxiliary members. Godspeed my friend. You changed us for the better. I will miss you. Prayers, love and light to Annette and the Grimsley family.
