As a member, how do I earn to wear a cap, and where do I obtain a cap?
Hi Mr. Don,
Members of a traditional post (not Post 1000 members) of The American Legion in good standing (dues paid) may wear the uniform cap. Your post Adjutant can guide you on the style of the uniform cap you should purchase.
You can purchase a uniform cap at The American Legion, Flag & Emblem website. https://emblem.legion.org/help_uniform_cap.asp
If you have any questions, contact your post leadership.
