He is my esteemed family member; I am proud to call him Uncle Jimmy. He is everything printed here and MORE.
Thank you Brother James/NVC WR for all you have and continue to do by serving. In your western travels, please let me know in advance when you come up to WA State. It would be great if we could arrange some time to meet up and chat.
Jimmy the article on your Legion Service was very inspiring you have given a life time of service to the legion and veteran. Congratulation on this service from me and all veterans! You deserve all the kudo you get. I probably didn’t know you (Jimmy) as well before reading this article but this clearly tells us what you are about!!! Thank you for your service……
I have followed your rise in the American Legion ever since I joined in 2009 I always enjoy talking to you at national conventions and national committee meetings. Keep up the good work.
GOD BLESS IF YOU NEED ME I AM HERE.
James (Jimmy) has been a friend and mentor to me since around 1995, when became a candidate for Department Sgt. At Arms. He finally remembered the wife’s name about 2 years ago (a standing joke between us). I’ve had the pleasure to work with Jimmy at both Department and National conventions. I wish Jimmy and Denise fair weather and safe travels.
Jim Leyser, Past Department Sgt. At Arms / 3rd Area Vice Commander
Congratulations Jim. We both were Post Commander in 1972 although I beat you as District Cdr 1980 (Department Cdr Bruce) and again in 1996 under Dan Hetherington. Both FINE Legionnaires. Wishing you a wonderful year – you deserve it.
