SAL

Sons of The American Legion squadrons have until July 23 to submit entries for this year’s Snapshots of Service contest.

Visit Legion.org/Sons/Publications for the entry form.

Winners will be announced in August at The American Legion 105th National Convention in New Orleans.

Photos submitted to the Snapshots of Service program must represent one of the four pillars: Americanism, Children and Youth, National Security, or Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation. Photos must be in JPG or TIFF format and will become property of the SAL.

Photos must be unrestricted and must feature members of the Sons with identifiable clothing or covers, along with a brief history of the event. Squadrons can submit up to three photos per category.

The SAL Public & Media Communications Commission will judge entries based on photo quality, representation of the four pillars, and inclusion of an SAL member or members.
