USAF Band

The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants from Washington, D.C. are bringing their world-class musical talents to California as part of their spring tour. From March 31 to April 5, audiences will have the opportunity to attend free concerts in several cities across the state.

This rare and exciting event will feature a blend of patriotic music, Broadway hits from Wicked and The Wizard of Oz, and a special salute to veterans. Each performance promises an unforgettable evening of music and inspiration, celebrating the service and sacrifice of America’s military personnel.

March 31: Bakersfield, CA – 7:30 PM at Bakersfield HS Auditorium

April 1: Fresno, CA – 7:00 PM at Clovis North HS Creative Arts Building

April 2: Rohnert Park, CA – 7:30 PM at Sonoma State University

April 3: Hayward, CA – 7:00 PM at Chabot College Performing Arts Center

April 4: Pittsburg, CA – 7:30 PM at Pittsburg HS Creative Arts Building

April 5: El Cerrito, CA – 3:00 PM at El Cerrito High School

About the USAF Band

The United States Air Force Band has a distinguished history dating back to its formation in 1941. Originally established as the “Official Band of the Army Air Forces,” it became The United States Air Force Band with the creation of the U.S. Air Force in 1947. Today, the Band represents the excellence of the Air Force’s 679,000 total-force Airmen through music, inspiring patriotism, and strengthening international relationships.

The Band consists of six premier ensembles: the Concert Band, Singing Sergeants, Airmen of Note, Air Force Strings, Ceremonial Brass, and Max Impact. Their performances have a global reach, spanning television, radio, and the internet. Additionally, they provide musical support for high-profile events, including ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and performances for top U.S. officials.
