Sponsored by the American Legion Los Angeles County Council, the 2nd Annual Tamale Festival is coming to Alhambra on Dec. 3.

The festival features a tamale contest open to the public. Registration is open for non-profits and other vendors. Tamale vendors will be required to fill out an application form (non-profit or regular) and a waiver, plus pay a fee and the opportunity to raffle off a donation item. All other vendors will be required to fill our application (non-profit or regular) and waivers. We anticipate at least 400 people during the time of the event. Set up is 8 to 11 a.m., inspection is at 11:30 a.m. and sales commence 12 to 6 p.m. or until sold out.
