America’s Longest, Covid-safe Independence Day Parade – L.A., Friday, July 3!

101-yr-old WWII Vet Sidney Walton, to lead 101-km parade on 101 fwy at 101 km/hr, with 101 vehicles following!!!

9:31:01 am – Assemble at American Legion Post 43, 2301 N. Highland Ave, next to Hollywood Bowl. Celebrities so far include former L.A. Councilman Tom LaBonge.
10:01:01 am – Photo op at “101 freeway” sign.
10:31:01 am – Depart on 101 fwy northbound, 101 km to Ventura Beach Marriott. Led by Sidney as Grand Marshal.

Sidney Walton, one of America’s oldest WWII vets, is on a nationwide No Regrets Tour (www.SupportSidney.org), visiting all 50 states and meeting all 50 governors in a campaign to raise awareness of the rapidly dwindling number of WWII vets. He regrets to this day missing an opportunity to meet some of the last veterans of the Civil War.

Sidney travels safely in his brand new, wrapped, 2020 Buick Enclave, with which he will lead the parade.
