This survey is to ask what you, the blue cappers, would like to see taught at the Department of California Convention.
Post Convention Delegate Training
Post Delegates to the annual Department Convention have a duty to represent the best interest of their post as they vote in our department affairs. Post Delegates alone have the authority to approve changes to the department’s constitution, bylaws, department budget, approve resolutions, and elect our department officers. Post leaders, especially Post Convention Delegates are encouraged to complete the Post Convention Delegate Training to better understand their role.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Thursday: Pre DEC (morning), Committee Meetings (afternoon)
Friday: Convention Opening Session, Training
Saturday: Convention Opening Session, Training
Sunday: Closing Session, Post DEC

BOOK OF REPORTS
The deadline for Book of Reports submissions was April 15. Please email submissions as a Word Document to adjutant@calegion.org
VENDORS
If you are interested in hosting a booth at our convention, please review the vendors packet below and submit the included contract.
MANDATORY DISTRICT AND AREA FORMS
District and Area Forms are due June 1. These forms are crucial to help us properly plan for convention. Please submit as soon as possible.

POST ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE
Delegates from Posts that are on Probation or Suspension are unable to vote at the convention. Please reference the following reports to determine if your Post is currently in compliance:

PRINTING DURING CONVENTION
Department may be able to assist with printing materials during convention, for a fee. If you are expecting that you will need printouts, please come prepared or let us know ahead of time.
