- Beginning Nov. 8, all veterans enrolled in VA Health Care are eligible for a toxic exposure screening, as per the PACT Act. Veterans can undergo additional screenings “at least once every five years.”
- The VA announced on Nov. 7 that veterans stricken with cancers outlined in the PACT Act will have their claims expedited.

- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it will be conducting an investigation after a cluster of veterans who were previously stationed at Fort Ord were diagnosed with cancer.

- Nearly 100 Vietnam veterans returned home on Sunday after visiting the veterans memorials in Washington D.C. for the annual San Diego Honor Flight.
