All are invited to celebrate the homecoming for Department of California Commander Ed Grimsley. The event will be held on Saturday, May 1 from 2-7 p.m. at American Legion Post 460, 7815 Armour St. Call 858-277-1052 with any questions.
There will be a live blues band, delicious food, dancing and raffle prizes.
For those unable to attend in person, there will be a virtual event as well.

Jared is the senior editor and web team lead for the Department of California and chair of its Media & Communications Commission. He became a member of the American Legion in 2014 when he joined Palisades Post 283 to find stories about veterans issues for a local newspaper while working as its news editor.
