As a veteran leading an impactful art project, I provide fellow veterans with art sessions that focus on therapeutic healing. Throughout my years of hosting art therapy, I have witnessed how Vietnam veterans are finally addressing long-overdue issues. This creative outlet empowers them to engage in open dialogues with their counselors, psychiatrists, and other medical professionals, encouraging them to tackle unresolved challenges that have lingered since their time in service. Art becomes not just a medium for expression but a vital step towards healing and recovery.

I listen to NEWSMAX and OAN and other conservative news outlets. They give both sides to any issue. Then I know what is going on because they have people from both sides give their opinion. I get to formulate my own opinion. This Admin. is doing a great job at reducing fraud and fat. Doug is doing a great job as a Vet in charge of the Vet. Admin. It has only been three months and I couldn’t be more happy with this Administration as a whole. The Left is going beserk because their attempt at taking this Country down is failing. It is going to be funny when in 6 months all the liberal press is going to look stupid when everything falls into place like it did in Pres.
Trump’s first Admin. All I can say is sit back and enjoy the ride. It will be great for all of us.

Would love to get an update on this bill. Ready to retire and would love to come back to CA, but without this bill passing, it makes if very tough.

I think that the full property tax exemption for 100% disabled Vets is great. However, I think that the property tax exemption should be available to all disabled Vets based on the extent of their disability.
For example, if they have a 70% service-connected disability their
property would be 70% of what it normally would be. I surely do not want to take anything from the Vets with a 100% disability as they have given much to our country. However, though less for the Vets with a lesser disability rate they also have given much for our country.

I know this might sound a little crazy because these are commonsense questions.
1. Where these services not provided prior to the covid shut down?
2. If the answer to the first question is yes, where were the appointments held then?
3. If the VA had the Facilites then, why can’t they be used today?

As for the Mental Health Providers/Clinicians there is no reason they can’t return in person. If they want to practice from their homes, they should get a license, the appropriate errors and omissions or malpractice insurance (whichever best fits the medical field), sign a non-disclosure agreement, and be considered an independent contractor.

As for violating privacy standards in my dealings with the VA in a lot of cases I’m not sure they have a clue about the privacy standards. I know this is a general statement and doesn’t apply to all, but I know veterans are also frustrated when it comes to some of the VA’s decisions and interpretation of what should be considered under privacy standards.

I spoke to a local American Legion officer about the possible cuts. She said she doesn’t follow the news and has heard nothing within the Legion. One of the missions of American Legion is to support veterans who need help. I’m disappointed with the lack of response by the organization.
