After missing a year, The American Legion returns to conduct its 102nd National Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.
Department Bylaws
RITUAL: To promote and teach the use of ritual in all American Legion meetings as described in the official National Publications, e.g. Officer’s Guide, to foster teams at all levels of The American Legion for initiatory and installation at meetings, and to lend military pageantry to American Legion functions, particularly at patriotic holiday ceremonies and parades, and at department and national conventions and to supervise contests of uniform bodies.
