Veteran-owned distillery, Hotel Tango Distillery, based in Indianapolis, is pledging to donate $1 of every bottle sold of its limited-time Red, White & Bourbon to support The American Legion’s Be the One suicide prevention mission.

The Red, White & Bourbon campaign is running now through July 31. To see where to purchase a bottle, visit the distillery’s website.

Founder and CEO of Hotel Tango, Travis Barnes, knows the challenges of readjusting to civilian life and the pain of losing friends to mental health issues.

“As a Veteran-owned company, we are honored to collaborate with The American Legion in our shared mission to support Veterans nationwide. I know the mental strain through my own experience with PTSD and transitioning back to civilian life. Having a support system and resources is vital for Veterans’ mental health. This partnership allows us to give back to soldiers of every generation struggling with mental health issues, expressing our gratitude for their sacrifices, and ensuring that Legion centers remain pillars of support within our communities,” said Barnes.

Having donated more than $45,000 through this program in the last two years, Hotel Tango has a track record of giving to charity causes.

Be the One seeks to offer assistance and resources to Veterans dealing with mental health problems, especially those going through PTSD and readjusting to civilian life. With the help of this program, Veterans will have access to an essential support network that will help them get on with their lives after their service.

“This partnership represents a mutually beneficial alliance that enables The American Legion to further its mission of supporting servicemembers, Veterans, and their families,” said Dean Kessel, Chief Marketing Officer for The American Legion. “Together with Hotel Tango, we are committed to promoting patriotism, honor, and continued devotion to those who have served our nation.”
