The Department of California is now accepting applications for the 2022 California American Legion College (CALC), which
will be held in Clovis May 12-15.

CALIFORNIA AMERICAN LEGION COLLEGE (CALC)
The California American Legion College (CALC) is open to all members of our American Legion Family – Legionnaires, Sons of The American Legion, and American Legion Auxiliary. As with many advanced training programs, participants need to prepare in advance to have the best training experience.

The prerequisites to attend The California Legion College are:

Basic Training
Basic Training is The American Legion’s official training program for officers and members of The American Legion Family. Basic Training is a self-paced online course developed by The American Legion Education Institute (ALEI). To take the Basic Training course – Click Here

An Essay
To attend the course an essay must be submitted. The details of the essay topic will be found in the course application when it is published.

Application
An application must be submitted to Department by April 1 along with the essay. – Download application
