california veterans chamber of commerce

Exciting news is rippling through the veteran community as a newly formed Chamber of Commerce specifically designed to give Veteran Owned Businesses the competitive edge is going to operate throughout the State of California.  The Chamber will advocate for California’s veteran business community and promote economic opportunity for military veterans, military families and veteran friendly businesses.

With a special introductory campaign, the Chamber is offering a grace period for new members to sign up, absolutely free.

Take advantage today of the resources, the networking with other veterans, and the unlimited exposure and referrals your business will have to access potential clients.

The  following words were written by the founders of the Chamber and I believe you will conclude, as did I, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Fellow Veterans,

With over 252,000 veteran-owned businesses in the state, California ranks number one in the nation. It stands to reason. California not only has the largest economy of any state, but ranks as the world’s fifth largest economy, with businesses as diverse as their owners and employees. Demonstrating the same grit, discipline, resilience and work ethic we honed in the military, veterans founded roughly 85% of the businesses we run today. We lead from the front.

Amidst COVID-19, it is important to remember that small businesses in America account for 47.5% of employees, according to the SBA. As the largest and most diverse veteran- and military spouse-owned business community in the U.S., we readily lend a hand to support service members upon their release from active duty, and are always available to mentor each other in business. It is in this spirit we are launching the California Veterans Chamber of Commerce (CA VCC). Our intent is to create a platform where you, as owners of veteran- and military spouse-owned businesses, can network, share and help each other grow, especially under the economic uncertainty created by COVID-19.

Towards this objective, our first task is to create an up-to-date directory of all veteran- and military spouse-owned businesses in California. Which is why, we are offering a free 6-month “get to know us” period. To get started, please take a moment to register as a member of our CA VCC, so we can be a force multiplier together.
