Feeding Military Heroes
For the fourth consecutive year, the LASD Military and Veterans Affairs (MVA) Unit, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Star Post 309 of the American Legion, is teaming up with the San Dimas Rotary Foundation and the San Dimas Masonic Lodge for this year’s donation drive.
The Feeding Military Families campaign aims to alleviate the struggles of service members who may be facing challenges in providing enough food for their families.
Sadly, 1 in 6 military and veteran families experience food insecurity.
Last year, the combined efforts resulted in delivering 5 tons of donated food and items to military families at the 29 Palms U.S. Marine Corps Base in San Bernardino County.
This year, the goal is to surpass that achievement by collecting SIX tons.
Needed Items:
– Canned Goods (soups, stews, fruits and vegetables)

– Baby Food & Supplies (formula, solids, wipes, diapers, etc.)
– Hygiene Supplies (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, razors, etc.)
