Post 309 – Feeding Military Families
After a one-year hiatus in 2025, Los Angeles Sheriff’s STAR Post 309 is proud to relaunch its support of the Feeding Military Families program in 2026!
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed in past years, and we look forward to your continued support as we once again help active duty, junior enlisted service members and their families facing food insecurity.
No service member should ever be forced to choose between serving their country and providing food for their family. This food drive supports Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force families at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Fort Irwin, and Los Angeles Air Force Base.
How to Get Involved:
Each unit should designate coordinators to begin collecting items. Large moving boxes can be obtained from Home Depot or Lowe’s and may be decorated or labeled using the attached image and flyer. Collection boxes should be placed in visible, high-traffic areas such as station lobbies, facility entrances, or offices. Units are encouraged to promote their participation on social media using the hashtag #FeedingMilitaryFamilies. At the end of the collection period, all donated items should be delivered to the San Dimas Masonic Lodge, 220 N. Monte Vista Avenue, San Dimas.
