Being kind to others is the essence of the Golden Rule we are taught as children. The kindness we show to a stranger, a child, or an elderly person is a good thing. Being kind to someone who has been less than kind to us can be hard to do. If we can show kindness to someone who has been less than kind to us, it could beget kindness in return. That would also be a good thing.

Oxytocin, the chemical responsible for feelings of love and connection, binds us as human beings. In this Mindset Moment,  Simon talks about the power of kindness and the chemical reaction we have to acts of generosity.
