NSO Clinic

The Los Angeles County Council (LACC) Veteran Service Officers (VSO) Team has been asked to support the National Service Officer (NSO) Clinic at the American Legion National Convention. The team will assist veterans with benefit eligibility and claims. Clinic participants will include representatives from the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Regional Service Officers (RSOs), the Appeals Management Agency (AMA), and Veterans Rehabilitation and Education (VA&RE). This opportunity will allow the LACC VSO Team to engage with senior VA staff and return with updated information and processes.

The LACC VSO Team will include Steve V. Ramirez, Director and Level III VSO; Danielle C. Romero, Level II VSO; and Chandra Young, Level I VSO. The team will support the NSO Clinic from August 28 through September 2, 2026, under the supervision of NSO Kevin Bradner. (The first and previous year the NSO clinic was tremendous success.)
