The East San Gabriel Valley community gathered to honor veterans and military families at the 27th Annual Tribute to Veterans and Military Families, hosted by Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger. Among the distinguished attendees was Legionnaire Hugh Crooks, recognized for his continued commitment to veterans’ causes.

Supervisor Barger personally presented Mr. Crooks with a special proclamation commemorating his service and dedication. The event, adorned with patriotic decorations and wreaths, underscored the region’s appreciation for those who have served.

Photos captured the spirit of the day as Supervisor Barger and Mr. Crooks posed together, symbolizing the community’s respect and gratitude. Supervisor Barger’s office expressed its thanks to Mr. Crooks for participating and offered signed prints of the event photos as a keepsake.

For those interested in receiving a physical print, Supervisor Barger’s office invites them to share a mailing address to ensure delivery.
