The Vallejo Veterans Memorial Building (VMB) and its seven veterans service organizations — The American Legion Mare Island Navy Yard Post 550, American Legion Manuel L. Quezon Post 603, Disabled American Veterans Ozie Boler Chapter 21, Filipino American Retired US Armed Forces Association, Fleet Reserve Association Vallejo Branch 8, US Submarine Veterans Mare Island Base, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Carl H. Kreh Post 1123 — were all proud and honored to join our grateful nation in commemorating the annual National Vietnam War Veterans Day (NVWVD) on March 29. Vallejo held its first annual NVWVD in 2014 when they honored nearly 600 Vietnam Veterans.
