California American Legion College 2-2023

We are now accepting applications for the Fall Course of the California American Legion College!
Legion College is designed for Legionnaires interested in operating a more prosperous and relevant American Legion Post within their respective communities.
The course begins at 8:00 am on Friday, 10/20
Graduation should be completed by 1:00 pm on Sunday, 10/22
LOCATION:
The American Legion Post 149, Escondido
230 East Park Avenue
Escondido, California 92025
Applications must be submitted by October 6.
PREREQUISITES:
- Complete The American Legion Basic Training Course
www.legion.org/alei - Submit a resolution on a topic of your choice.
Once your application is submitted, you will receive instructions on how to write a resolution.
Prerequisites must be completed and submitted to CALC@caLegion.org by October 12.
(Failure to submit requirements before 10/12/23 will result in forfeiture of your class seat.)
The Department of California will reimburse approved participants for mileage from their home Post to Post 149, Escondido, and back, as well as $50.00 per day (3 days) per diem.
