As a female Air Force Veteran I cannot thank the innovators of this memorial enough. I served during a fairly peaceful time in the world. 1977-1995. We were always practicing for the worst case scenario. By the grace of God it did not occur in that timeframe. But this is a new day and we must be prepared. The female work force in the military has grown exponentially since then and should be recognized. Thank you for bringing this recognition to fruition.
