I got a new cpap about 2 years ago. I haven’t received any supplies. I have tried phoning, emailing, and all the VA WEBSITES I GOT FRUSTRATION. Why is this so difficult????
Greetings, I’m interested in finding all suits pertaining to the 1973 fire st louis that destroyed military records. I’m apart of the Camp Lejuene water contamination and my dad records are so far missing. I’m having a hard time trying to verify my stay at Lejuene. Any case against NARA or National Personnel Records Center would be helpful.
Saturday, May 25, my son & I, Veterans, two small grandchildren, were unable to reach the Carl Vinson from the designated San Pedro site, standing almost three hours in line. There were insufficient numbers of dedicated buses to get us to the aircraft carrier. This was a serious disappointment, thousands standing in line and unable to reach this important Navy designation. Our grandchildren were disappointed. Where were the buses necessary to bring patriotic citizens to the Carl Vinson? I am a longtime active member of American Legion Post 405, Los Angeles.
a lot of discussion in these articles about when people are dead/ we need to think about the living and how we can support them. a good example is the cost of living, food prices, gas etc. everyone wonders why people are leaving Ca. They cannot afford to live here any more. There should be a state or federal law where 100% disabled veterans should be exempt from state taxes, Right now the majority of his benefits are for his wife and children. He should benefit while he is still alive.
I completely agree. We are a tiny piece of the California population, that is military retirees, something like 150K of us. If California did not tax my military retirement I would easily stay. They will make lots of money off my wife and my 401ks and taxable investments in retirement, along with sales taxes, vacation spending, and property taxes. Until then, I’m planning on moving in retirement in a few years.
I am a veteran with a formal complaint with the VA OIG, OptumServe and the Texas Medical Licensing Board for Psychologists. I read your recent article regarding, Senator Elizabeth Warren’s congressional inquiry to the Department of Veteran Affairs.
I was curious if you would be interested in covering my recent experience with OptumServe. For a brief background, OptumServe is currently performing an internal investigation of a complaint on fraudulent C&P examination reports submitted to the VBA. More specifically, a concurrent investigation is underway with the State of Texas Medical Licensing Board (Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, Austin TX) regarding a specific C&P examiner for allegations of code of conduct violations for engaging in fraud and deceit in her services with OptumServe.
I have substantial documented evidence including a 1-1/2 hour audio recording of the C&P examiner discussion and the fraudulent report that was submitted to the VBA for denial of disability benefits.
I sent a message to Senator Warren’s caseworker team to engage them on this topic, as well. Please let me know if you would have the bandwidth to cover this powerful and serious matter. I would be happy to share my story and documented evidence.
