Thank you for all that you. As the newly appointed Chaplain for Area 2, it’s an honor to see the great work that is being done. I’m incorporating the faiths that I was raised with Sikh and Christian into the services that we provide in the SF Bay & Monterey Bay regions.

I too watched that game and stood up in my living room while cheering on the great moment when a Monday saved the flag! A great day for the USA by a true Monday giant!

I appreciate your comment and thank you for bringing it to our attention. I want to present an all-inclusive picture of our interfaith community for the Legion. Can you suggest a comparable symbol that includes other faiths? Please send it to me at chaplain@calegion.org.

Thank you again!

I remember that game as I watch it on TV WGN… Will never forget what Rick Monday did… He will always be one of my favorite cub player… It was a disgrace what those two idiots try to do….

Yes, we stand for God and Country, but please remember that we are non-denominational. Maybe you could add some additional symbology to the cross. There are chaplains of other faiths.

the obvious question to ask, is will Veterans just stand by & do nothing while the 4 Amendment is routinely violated at every airport in this Republic?

I find it interesting that the writer of the article on the VA Health Information card never had a VA ID? Been with the VA for over 20 year’s I was issued a VA ID card fro the beginning. Just another easily issued picture ID.

It would be easy if a member needed help badly and this e-mail expertly, and quickly explained the help that is presented, without 10 to 12 other programs that may also be included, one at a time. Currently, my problems are all things related to California’s naturally disadvantaged over the last few weeks. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that we, in the American Legion have some great giving by its members, relevantly, relieved, and to the point of being looked at on several sides for the best outcomes for all. Simply addressing one major point at a time. My head is still trying to wrap around all the different points of concern. Such as the damage suspicion to my home now, loss of property to fences, trees, and electrical wiring because a large tree ripped out the system. One at a time seems the starting point, not 10 different things at one time.

Wow, I’m a Vietnam veteran 1967-1968 infantry reception of two Purple Hearts. I am embarrassed to say I do not recollect reading that, but the story of World War I in history. Thank you for sharing this with a lot of people.
