FROM: Erin Bossen, Member Engagement & Training Coordinator, Internal Affairs & Membership Division
We have begun shaping the training schedule for the upcoming National Convention and are currently gathering ideas for potential sessions and instructors.
At this stage, several topics are tentatively being considered, including:
- Chaplain panel discussion
- Membership retention strategies
- Running an effective meeting / consistency in post leadership practices
- A cognitive health block (approximately 1.5–2 hours)
If you have ideas for training topics that would benefit convention attendees for National Convention, or if you are interested in serving as an instructor or panel participant, please submit your ideas.
If you are already serving as a national instructor, please reach out with your topic proposal.
If you are not currently a national instructor, we ask that you complete the instructor intake process so we can review your interest and qualifications. This process includes submitting an interest form and participating in a short intake conversation with the training team.
This process helps ensure a consistent and mission-aligned instructor roster for national training events.
Thank you for helping us gather ideas from across the organization. Your support helps ensure our convention training reflects the needs and experience of the field.
