During the 107th National Convention, many Subject Matter Expert Training sessions will take place!
This includes a training from Department of California member and Newport Harbor Post 291 Service Officer Cory Vigil, discussing Veteran Reintegration. The training will focus on reintegration from the Veteran’s perspective and how the Veteran’s transition impacts and integrates the entire family. Topics will include:
- Veteran transition and reintegration
- Family impact and adjustment
- Suicide data and prevention
- Mental health challenges
- Re-entry and reintegration issues
- Current Veteran transition statistics
- Understanding the challenges Veterans face after military service
