- As first reported by KCRA Sacramento and according to an Aura survey, veterans are 11 percent more likely to fall victim to cyber crimes than the general public. Veterans are increasingly targeted for their benefits.

- The Kern County WWII Veterans Memorial will be hosting a dedication ceremony on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. in Jastro Park.
Sacramento Veterans News
- The Sacramento Exchange is permanently closing down on Nov. 26. The Exchange had remained open through the closure of McClellan Air Force Base in 2001.
San Luis Obispo County Veterans News
- The will be unveiling a new World War II artifact on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Santa Barbara County Veterans News
- According to the New Times San Luis Obispo, the Tee It Up for Veterans golf classic raised over $90,000 for local veterans and active military returning home from deployments. The annual event is primarily organized by Band of Brothers in Santa Maria and Welcome Home in San Luis Obispo.
Ventura County Veterans News
- 102-year-old WWII veteran Eugene Cleveland was awarded the French Legion of Honor, France’s highest military honor, for his service during the European Theater.
