HEADQUARTERS HOTELS
The Westin and JW Marriott will serve as co-headquarters hotels for both American Legion and Sons of the American Legion. The Hilton will serve as The American Legion Auxiliary headquarters hotel.

EVENTS DURING CONVENTION
Friday, August 25:
- Color Guard Competition – 4 PM in Hall A
As of 6/7, no applications have been received. Please talk to your color guards to return those by July 21. There will be a JROTC competition this year!
Saturday, August 26:
- Competitive Concert Band Contest – 1 PM in Hall A
Two bands will be competing: Joliet and Louisiana Post 0377
- American Legion Family Night at The Charlotte Knights Baseball Game – 7 PM at the Truist Field
Discounted tickets are available here. Tickets must be purchased by August 21.
Sunday, August 27:
- Patriotic Memorial Service – 11 AM in Hall A
Featuring the 82nd Airborne Division chorus and band
Monday, August 28:
- Department of California Breakfast & Caucus – 7 AM-1 PM at the Charlotte Convention Center, Room 201, Meeting Level
- Jim Hackney Nite Out / California Party

Tuesday, August 29:
- Legion General Opening Ceremony
with US Army veteran-turned country musician and motivational speaker as Emcee and Opening Entertainment
- National Commander’s Banquet
Entertainment is local band Motown Revue. Tickets are $60 each.

Wednesday, August 30:
- Auxiliary State Dinner
